Our guided youth programs and after school activities focus on reinforcing children’s natural curiosity for movement and desire for achievement through the foundations of Parkour.
ROAM Active features a coach-led, organic curriculum with an adaptive teaching style and class structure. Classes shift between social-focused training where students participate in progressing new skills together, and individual training where we encourage them to focus on skills of their specific interest with the advice and guidance of the coach.
We maintain a constant level of activity throughout class, minimizing downtime by replacing passive lines with active waiting. Students move freely within a set area as the coach rotates between and interacts with each student on an individual level.
Parkour is an artform and discipline that teaches us how to use our bodies to better move through and interact with the world around us.
It’s both an alternative to traditional athletics and an addition to them in the form of cross-training and off-season movement development. Its attention to kinesthesis, proprioception, and environmental & skill variety make it an unparalleled tool for physical intervention, muscle development, and spatial assessment & awareness.
An athletic pursuit for anyone of any ability, Parkour refines strength, balance, and body awareness—while also increasing movement fluidity and confidence—regardless of how much or how little a student begins with.
Movement is a body language everyone understands, and Parkour teaches us how to best speak and interpret it.
All youth programs are structured around skill-based movement development. We begin with fundamentals achievable by all ages, slowly expand complexity and difficulty, and add in new skill-sets over time.
We offer a variety of programs for differing skill and interest levels. From our core classes, camps, and after school activities–to our invitation-based Focus sessions, there’s something for students both new to Parkour and those already well into the discipline.
Parkour teaches a student to understand how their body and their movement relates to their environment. It’s a discipline of constant variety–both in the movements that are practiced and the environmental situations that the movements are used in.
This variety increases a student’s ability to assess risk and take responsibility for the risks they take. They’ll learn to recognize their own level of physical ability, skill-set density, and self-confidence.
Choices they make become founded on this self-assessment–imparted by the skills they learn and the reinforcement of their coaches. This character development influences thought process even outside of a Parkour setting–we speak from our own experience, having practiced and taught Parkour for close to two decades.
As a student explores the breadth of Parkour skill-sets, they’ll find natural paths of interest and specialization. We encourage this individual focus and the personal styles of movement that arise from it.
Some students gravitate towards acrobatics, some climbing, some jumping, the list is quite literally endless.
Parkour has no skill ceiling. It’s a fluid, innovative, and accepting discipline. Athletes are constantly developing new movements and skill-sets—and adding unique twists or new refinements to old ones. Once a student understands the fundamental movements and underlying principles, Parkour’s creative aspects begin to shine.
Everyone has an interest. Everyone has a specialty. Everyone carries with them a unique self. We love cultivating that mindset in our students, their families, and everyone part of the ROAMFurther community.
Beyond the individual benefits, our class structure fosters an atmosphere of goal-oriented socializing. Students develop new skills and confront unfamiliar challenges with others—an intrinsic part of the Parkour experience.
The nature of mutual risk-assessment creates strong, empathetic friendships.
Our own team is predominantly composed of students and training partners who’ve grown up learning with us and one another. We’re a community created from a mutual love of movement and mindset, constantly growing ourselves, together.
Our gym is designed with everyone in mind. Seriously, we’ve taught as young as 8 months–and as old as 80. The space was designed with modularity in mind, allowing us to adapt the gym layout to the needs of every age and ability level.
It’s an ever-evolving space, never feeling exactly the same session to session. New environmental challenges arise out of each new setup, allowing for the instruction of new skills or the application of familiar skills in new settings.
ROAM blends traditional Ninja obstacles and equipment with our Parkour-inspired architecture and programming.
Parkour is about learning to adapt yourself to the environment, regardless of what it is. It improves fluidity, movement connectivity, momentum transition, and obstacle assessment–all imperative skills for anyone seeking top-level performance in high-profile Ninja competition circuits.
The perfect extended adventure, our youth camps keep your children moving from drop-off to pick-up. The camp structure emphasizes experiential learning, movement-based games, and Parkour focused skill development.
Obstacle Courses, Trampoline, Warped Walls, ROAM. Our guided birthday programs are perfect for high energy celebrations of all ages.

We host community centered, high-profile gatherings, competitions, workshops, and other Parkour and movement-focused events and celebrations.
Whether a student is seeking the focus of one-on-one instruction, the expertise of a coach emphasizing a particular style, or a more flexible schedule, our Private Lesson offerings are the perfect fit.
Outdoor Parkour training for our seasoned students. We select different locations for each event, bringing the skills we learn in the gym into the outer world and adapting them to new environments.
ROAM Outdoors is by invitation. Join our newsletter for event announcements.
Indoor challenge events for our seasoned students. Attempt pre-established challenges in the gym, ranging from fundamentals to highly technical skillsets.
Speed Courses, Line Building, Individual Parkour Skills, and unique applications of the space help students recognize their strengths and the areas in which they can seek improvement.
ROAM Challenges are by invitation. Join our newsletter for event announcements.
Our take on the traditional Open Gym; ROAMFREE Sessions allow students with a strong grasp of Parkour’s fundamentals–and the philosophies of our training methods & space–to use the gym outside of the usual class structure.
Students are allowed to work on skills and in areas of the gym of their choosing, while one of our coaches spends time amongst them training and offering advice on the skills they’re putting a focus towards.
This mirrors the style of Parkour training most followed in our discipline’s culture. Exploring a space with your movement, and making decisions on how to interact with it relative to your skill and self-understanding.

Shoes or bare-feet!
Thin, all-rubber soled shoes with traditional laces are recommended.
Foam soled shoes or shoes with velcro/elastic laces are highly discouraged. Foam has little to no traction, and velcro/elastic laced shoes easily slip free.
