Our Sensory Classes focus on specialized movement, exploration, and developmental skill sets.
All students will require 1 to 1 caregiver/parent attention. This is a passive role to ensure the coach can attend all students due to the open structure of the class.
Students freely choose between a selection of open areas to explore, with a class-dedicated coach overseeing and offering advice for each area of activity and the differing movement skills that can be practiced at each.

**ROAM is located through k1 Speed Racing. K1 is typically most active Friday-Sunday, and can be overstimulating for sound/light/social sensitive individuals. Please prepare accordingly for passing through K1 to access ROAM.**
ROAM’s Sensory classes focus on reinforcing children’s inherent curiosity for movement; refining it through the fundamentals of Parkour.
An athletic pursuit for anyone of any ability, Parkour is all about learning how our bodies move—especially relative to the world around us. It refines strength, balance, and body awareness regardless of how much or how little a student begins with.
Guided by our team, students learn the unique principles and skills of Parkour. The repetition of these skills in constantly varying set-ups creates strong connections within a student’s physical memory. Ability becomes instinct, and movement that once presented challenges becomes commonplace and second nature.
Parkour’s attention to kinesthesis and proprioception make it an unparalleled tool for physical intervention, muscle development, and spatial assessment & awareness.
Kinesthesia is our sense of self-motion, proprioception our sense of self relative to the space around us. Jumping, climbing, balancing—the root movements of Parkour—enhance these senses and the motor skills associated with them.
Beyond the individual benefits, our class structure fosters an atmosphere of goal-oriented socializing. Students develop new skills and confront unfamiliar challenges with others—an intrinsic part of the Parkour experience.
The nature of mutual obstacle-assessment creates strong, empathetic friendships.
We strive to enable as much independent participation amongst students, parents, and caregivers as possible.
ROAM instructors are also active Parkour Athletes–meaning they practice what they teach.
Whether they’re working on a specific skill in a specific area of the gym, or moving from one area to another, coaches consider how the movement they demonstrate is perceived and internalized by each student.
We work to guide students into their growing physicality, teaching through demonstration, discovery–based learning, and positive reinforcement.
Our gym is designed for everyone. We’ve taught as young as 8 months–and as old as 80 years.
The space was designed with modularity in mind, allowing us to adapt the gym layout to the needs of every age and ability level.
Equipment ranges from soft, foam training blocks, to finished wooden surfaces, with a setup and material for every age and ability level.
