ROAM Valore (vah-loh-reh) is an exclusive, by invitation program for students who’ve begun to see Parkour as a passion.
Selected by our coaches based on their mindset, ability level, and community values, Valore students represent ROAM’s most dedicated athletes.
Valore is designed for students aged 8 and older, but younger students who demonstrate exceptional potential may also be considered for ROAM Valore.
Participation in the program will be in addition to each student’s regularly scheduled weekly class.
If your child has been invited to join ROAM Valore or you would like to learn more, please contact us via email, call, text, or chat with us during your next visit.
Parkour teaches practitioners to seek out and complete challenges of their own choosing. Every challenge, be it a single new skill, or a line built from the connection of many, is composed of facets both Physical and Psychological. Accomplishment is achieved by repeating movements, refining technique, and mastering uncertainty in thoughtful, incremental ways.
The combination of these practices in tandem with the self-driven, personalized nature of Parkour serve as an avenue for an ever-deepening personal growth and self-confidence.
At ROAM, this growth is demonstrated every day. Its founders, shaped by nearly twenty years of Parkour practice, built ROAM as a living example of the independence, self-belief, and inner drive that Parkour manifests. They speak of the benefits for having experienced each themselves.
Our Valore program brings our most dedicated students fully into these philosophical foundations of Parkour, providing them with all of the tools needed to shape the best versions of themselves through the medium of movement.
Parkour culture values self-expression through movement and respects the effort behind every progression, regardless of someone’s level.
Rooted in a spirit of curiosity and resilience, Parkour celebrates the cycle of attempting, refining, and mastery through consistent repetition.
It’s not about performing for others—it’s about the process, the mindset, and the journey each athlete undertakes to move freely and with purpose in the world around them.
The Parkour community is made up of movement artists who thrive on creativity, challenge, and shared experience. It’s a community of mutual support where individuals assess their own limits while being supported by peers doing the same.
The bonds formed in these spaces run deep, forged by the trust and encouragement required to attempt difficult movements alongside one another.
At its best, this community doesn’t just help you improve your skills; it helps you see and become your best self.
The competitive Parkour community has grown rapidly in recent years, leading to international events where the world’s top athletes compete for titles, recognition, and peak performance.
In response, Youth Parkour Competitions have emerged, paving the way for the next generation and helping young athletes prepare for the evolving landscape of competitive Parkour.
The Valore program places a soft emphasis on the competitive circuit, structuring classes around competitive expectations. There is no expectation for Valore students to partake in competition, and the class format serves to highlight and refine whichever avenue of Parkour an athlete is interested, be it the competitive side, the artistic side, or a blend between both.
Driven by a passion to see Parkour thrive across all facets of athletic pursuit, ROAMFurther Athletics proudly supports the Competitive Parkour community and the athletes working to leave their mark on the sport.
ROAM regularly hosts a range of competitive events in partnership with some of the leading figures and organizations in the global Competitive Parkour scene.

Our Competitive classes prepare students for the three primary formats of Competitive Parkour. Speed, Skill, and Style. Classes are structured heavily around the expectations of competition, emphasizing the techniques and mindsets athletes require to perform at the highest level and earn a spot on the podium.
You can read more about each competitive format below.
Parkour Athletes race on a pre-established course with specific boundaries & limitations in an attempt to achieve the fastest time.
Complete a checklist of pre-set skill challenges within a given time-limit. As rounds progress, difficulty increases, and time diminishes.
This event focuses on precision, technicality, and control as athletes attempt specific challenges.
Athletes create a line (a path in Parkour) through a pre-determined course, restricted by time, skill, and obstacle requirements.
Each athlete’s line is judged on overall impression of fluidity, creativity, and difficulty of movement, as well as uniqueness of area usage.
The Northeast Regional Youth Competition Circuit for Parkour is a collective effort between multiple Parkour Gyms in the Northeast.
